CAMERON -- Notre Dame faltered late in a 42-0 loss at Cameron.
The Irish stayed alive until the fourth quarter when Cameron scored 22 points.
"The kids played real hard in the ball game over three quarters," Notre Dame coach Robert Shields said. "(Cameron's) speed and strength was just too much to handle."
Mark Calzonetti ran for 70 yards on eight carries to lead the Irish.
n LEWIS COUNTY 21, North Marion 20: Curtis Holden rushed for 114 yards on 23 carries and a touchdown to lead Lewis County to a win.
Lewis County led 21-7 entering the third quarter.
In the fourth, Nick Parrish returned a punt 69 yards for a TD, and Mike Potoczny scored on a 1-yard plunge to rally North Marion. But the tying extra point was missed on a bad snap.
n VALLEY WETZEL 41, Hundred 0: Luke Long scored three touchdowns, including a 30-yard punt return, and Valley Wetzel rolled past Hundred. Long also scored on runs of 4 and 27 yards while racking up 115 yards on six carries.
n NICHOLAS COUNTY 43, Elkins 20: Nicholas County jumped to a 30-0 halftime lead and never looked back.
Josh Price led Elkins (0-3) with 134 yards on 18 carries.
n MORGANTOWN 51, Fairmont Senior 0: Morgantown's Mark Wigal ran for 93 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries, and Shane Fogerty completed 12 of 21 passes for 168 yards and a touchdown.
