The Doddridge County Bulldogs ended a four-game losing streak with a 51-26 victory over Ravenswood Monday night.
With Doddridge County (5-9) leading 12-11 midway through the second quarter, the Bulldogs went on a 10-2 run and were never seriously challenged again.
The run was started on a Danielle Powell jumper. She scored three of her nine points during the decisive stretch.
Lisa Davis led the Bulldogs with 14 points, followed by Kate Clark with eight. Nine of Davis' points came in the third quarter.
"It was nice to win one," Doddridge County coach Craig Kellar said. "We really needed to (win). It was a good team effort. We had nine kids do most of the playing tonight, and they all contributed.
"Lisa did a nice job. She distributed the ball pretty good."
The Red Devils were limited to eight field goals overall and made just made just nine of 21 free throws.
