Public Meetings

Sanitary Board meeting at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, in council chambers of city hall.

Parking Authority meeting at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, in council chambers of city hall.

Urban Renewal Authority meeting at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, in council chambers of city hall.

Municipal Building Tours and City Services Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 3, in the new Clarksburg Municipal Building, 222 West Main St. Third Street will be closed during the fair from Main Street to Traders Alley.

Municipal Building Dedication Ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 4 in front of the new Clarksburg Municipal Building. Main Street will be closed on Monday evening from 2nd to 3rd Street for the ceremony.

Special Events, Community Projects

City of Clarksburg Halloween "Trick or Treat" Schedule _ The City of Clarksburg has scheduled from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Clean Up Clarksburg Day _The City of Clarksburg is interested in hearing from organizations and volunteer groups to help celebrate Clarksburg at 9 a.m. Saturday, with a Downtown Clean-up program. Organizations can sponsor areas of the city they would like to clean and get recognition for the activity.

Those interested in the program can call the Clarksburg office of Community and Economic Development for more information and a sign-up form.

Fall Leaf Pick Up for Clarksburg Residents _ The City of Clarksburg will continue its annual six week fall leaf pick up. Citizens are reminded to set out their bagged leaves at the curbline, in front of their residence. The schedule for leaf pick up coincides with one's regularly scheduled recycling pick up day.

The six week leaf pick-up began Oct. 15 and will end on Nov. 22.
