Mrs. Lloyd W. Hart
CLARKSBURG -- Mrs. Marguerite M. Hart, age 95, of 109 Shawnee Way, Clarksburg, WV, died at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2003, in the United Hospital Center in Clarksburg following an extended illness. She was born in Salem, WV, July 21, 1907, a daughter of the late Camille and Aline Gomy Petitgirard.
Her husband, Lloyd Wilson Hart, preceded her in death March 23, 1971.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Lloyd C. and Gloria Hart, Charleston, WV, Robert J. and Joan Hart, Bridgeport, WV, and one daughter, Mrs. Joan Viglianco, Bridgeport, WV, fifteen grandchildren, Mrs. Rick (Vickie) Webb, Mrs. Jim (Valerie) Brabbin, Joseph Hart and wife Beverly, Greg Hart, all of Charleston, WV, Marsha Viglianco, Clarksburg, WV, Daniel Viglianco and wife Lauretta, Huntsville, AL, David, Jim, Michael and Paul Viglianco, all of Clarksburg, WV, Robert Hart and wife Susan, Richboro, PA., Thomas Hart and wife, Nada, Wellsley, MA, Shelley Corbett and husband, Don, Marshall Islands, Jacqueline Mertz and husband, David, Langhorne, PA, and David Hart and wife, Melissa, Ridgefield, CT, thirty-two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hart was also preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Petitgirard, and two sisters, Yvonne and Genevieve Petitgirard.
Mrs. Hart was a graduate of Salem High School, Class of 1923 and had attended West Virginia Business College. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Stonewood, WV. She sang in the church choir, was a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Perpetual Daughters of the church. She was an avid bridge player and sports fan. Mrs. Hart had retired in 1982 as secretary of the Harrison County Park Board, where she had served for many years.
Friends may call at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main Street, Clarksburg from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Monday, June 2, 2003 at 10 a.m., with the Reverend Father Leo Lydon as celebrant. A Biblical Prayer Service will be held at the funeral home at 3 p.m. on Sunday. Interment will follow the mass in Elk View Masonic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 300 Scott Avenue, Morgantown, WV 26508 in her memory.

Maude G. McClain
NUTTER FORT -- Maude G. McClain, 86, of Nutter Fort, died Thursday evening, May 29, 2003. She was born in Nutter Fort on December 23, 1916, a daughter of the late Jasper and Ida Brown Nicholson.
On January 10, 1934, she married Stewart L. McClain, who preceded her in death on February 23, 1990.
She is survived by a son, Steward D. McClain, Salem, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Garrison; four sisters, Ella Richards, Eva Mills Cornell, Madge Bryson, and Ruth Nicholson; and three brothers, William J. Burnside, Sr., Waldo Nicholson; and Roy Nicholson.
Maude was a life-long resident of Nutter Fort, and was a member of Vincent Memorial United Methodist Church.
Friends may call at the Greathouse-Gemondo Funeral Home, Nutter Fort, on Sunday evening from 5-8 p.m. Graveside services and interment will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at the Broad Run Cemetery, Jane Lew.
