Newspaper in Education, is a cooperative effort between schools and newspapers to promote the use of newspapers as an educational resource.

The Director of Educational Services for the Clarksburg Exponent and Telegram newspapers is Leslie Moore. Newspapers, including the interactive newsweeklies for kids  Parade Classroom and Mini-Page, are available in area schools' classrooms through the Newspaper in Education (NIE) program.
