S-TU splits a pair in Florida

From Staff Reports

Scot Peace's double in the top of the sixth drove in Russ Faden and Willie Thomas as Salem-Teikyo (6-6) rallied for a 6-5 win over Edinboro, Pa.

Peace finished the game with three hits, while Faden, Denny Rullie and Lee Williamson each added two hits.

Mike Plaugher picked up the win for the Tigers, while Rulli notched the save in two-thirds of an inning work.

In the second game, Mansfield scored on two unearned runs in the bottom of the sixth for a 3-2 win.

Peace led S-TU with two hits, including a double.

The Tigers return to action today at 10 a.m. in a doubleheader with St. Amslem, N.H.
