Constance G. Corcoglioniti
BRIDGEPORT -- Constance Gigliotti Corcoglioniti of 305 Capitol Ave., Clarksburg, died Wednesday, March 1, 2000, at United Hospital Center, Clarksburg, following an extended illness.
She was born Sept. 4, 1911, in Boomer, a daughter of Joseph and Sophia Sgango Gigliotti.
Her husband, Domenick Corcoglioniti, preceded her in death on April 6, 1977.
Surviving are one brother, Nicholas Gigliotti, Clarksburg; one sister, Mary Fordeley, Warren, Ohio; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Patricia Corcoglioniti, Mt. Clare, and Michael and Delores Corcoglioniti, Bridgeport; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Larry Pishner and Veronica and Denver Greaver, all of Clarksburg; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Anthony Gigliotti, Detroit, Mich., and Joseph Gigliotti, Baltimore, Md. and two sisters, Rose Scardina, Clarksburg, and Stella Ayoob, Detroit.
Mrs. Corcoglioniti was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church of Clarksburg, the Catholic Daughters of America and the William Marconi Lodge.
Burnside Funeral Home in Bridgeport is in charge of arrangements.
CLARKSBURG -- Wilbert J. DuFour, 76, of Grove Avenue, Clarksburg, died suddenly Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at his residence.
He was born July 27, 1923, in Jeanette, Pa., a son of the late Alphonse and Augusta Coenen DuFour.
On Oct. 7, 1946, he married Lois Catherine Paxton DuFour, who preceded him in death on April 30, 1994.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Paula DuFour, Lost Creek; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mrs. Gene (Joyce) Chada, Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. David (Susan) Sutter and Mrs. Bill (Elisa) Mahoney, all of Clarksburg; 14 grandchildren, Natalie DuFour, Adrienne O'Hara, Deanna DuFour, Shane DuFour, Benjamin DuFour, Tyler DuFour, Deirdre Sutter, Brieanna Rowe, Brian Dye, Buddy Chada, Delene Chada, Carl Chada, Gregory Chada, Stephanie Chada; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Jack DuFour, Richmond, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one brother, Desire DuFour and one sister, Martha Pulice.
Mr. DuFour was retired from Pittsburgh Plate Glass where he was employed as a glass cutter with 30 years service.
He was Protestant, a World War II U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Pacific Theater and a recipient of the Purple Heart Award.
Friends may call at Davis Funeral Home, 443 West Pike St., Clarksburg, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, where the funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Jim Kelly officiating. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Full military graveside rites will be conducted.

GRAFTON -- Harry R. "Dick" Hood, 72, of Route 5, Grafton, died at 3:20 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000, at West Virginia University Hospital, Inc., Morgantown.
He was born April 3, 1927, in Gary, Ind., a son of the late Robert W. Hood and Dorothy Bell Hood.
His wife, Cecelia A. Debendarfer Hood, survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Sharon A. Hood, Clarksburg, Sandra Gunter and husband, Robert L. Gunter, Pineville, and Cecelia Dee Foster and husband, James Gregory Foster, Salem, Va.; one brother, Robert W. Hood, Bartow, Fla.; and three grandchildren, Robert Gunter Jr., DeAnn Foster and Heath Foster.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, William B. Hood Sr. and George Jay Hood.
Mr. Hood was the owner of the Harry R. Hood Agency in Clarksburg for 44 years. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clarksburg, the Taylor County Shrine Club, the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, S.J., USA, 18th and 32nd degrees, the Grafton Lodge No. 15, A.F.&A.M., Nemesis Temple A.A.O.N.M.S. of Parkersburg, the Demolay Knights Templar No. 11 of Grafton and the Copestone Chapter No. 12, R.A.M.
NUTTER FORT -- Terry Joe Joseph, 41, of West Milford, died Monday evening, Feb. 28, 2000, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
He was born Nov. 14, 1958, in Charleston, a son of Matthew and Karen Kelley Joseph, who survive in Whitesville.
His wife, Nancy L. Leffel Joseph, whom he married on June 23, 1979, survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Nora and Ashley, and one son, Matthew, all at home; and three sisters, Diane Bass, Charleston, Deborah Lynn Rios, Raleigh, N.C., and Deborah June Neighbors, Amarillo, Texas.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Michelle L. Joseph.
Mr. Joseph was the owner of Computer Works, Clarksburg. He was a graduate of Sherman High School with the class of 1978 and received an associate's degree from the National Institute of Technology, Cross Lanes.
He was a member of the West Milford Baptist Church, where he taught the adult Sunday school class and was a member of the Clarksburg Rotary Club. He was very active in the local soccer leagues, enjoyed spending time with his family, running and playing tennis.
Friends may call at the West Milford Baptist Church from noon-2 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. Thursday. A service will be held at 11 a.m. at the church on Friday, with Pastor Bill Stutler presiding. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Pine View Cemetery, Orgas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the West Milford Baptist Church, for the Terry and Michelle Joseph Memorial Fund to be used for camp fees for the Wilds Christian Camp and Conference Center at P.O. Box 133, West Milford, WV, 26451.

NUTTER FORT -- Michelle Lea Joseph, 11, of West Milford, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000.
She was born Dec. 7, 1988, in Clarksburg, a daughter of Nancy L. Leffel Joseph and the late Terry Joe Joseph, who also died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000.
Also surviving are two sisters, Nora and Ashley and one brother, Matthew; her maternal grandparents, Jerry and Flora Leffel, Racine; her paternal grandparents, Matthew and Karen Joseph, Whitesville; two uncles, Jarold Leffel, Anderson, S.C., and Timmy Leffel, Covington, Va.; three aunts, Diane Bass, Charleston, Deborah Lynn Rios, Raleigh, N.C., and Deborah June Neighbors, Amarillo, Texas; and seven cousins.
Michelle was a fifth-grade student at West Milford Elementary School and a member of the West Milford Baptist Church. She was active in the Awanas program, enjoyed soccer and playing the piano.

BELINGTON -- Darius Darnell Howard, 69, a resident of Kings Run Road, Elkins, died at 1:06 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Buckhannon, following an extended illness.
He was born March 28, 1931, in Huttonsville, a son of the late Darnell and Arminia Howard.
In 1957, he married the former Frances Collins, who preceded him in death on Dec. 31, 1992.
Surviving are one son, Robert Howard and one daughter, Susan Howard, both of Pennsylvania; two stepsons, Albert and Robert Collins, both of Baltimore, Md.; one stepdaughter, Patricia Leash, Dartmoore; 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; three brothers, Thorton Howard, Baltimore, John Howard and Pearl Howard, both of Ohio; and one sister, Bernice See, Huttonsville.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, one grandson and one granddaughter.
Mr. Howard attended the schools of Randolph County.
He was a retired truck driver and Protestant.
SALEM -- Juanema F. Kinney, 74, Cherry Camp community, died at 10:40 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, following an extended illness.
She was born April 4, 1925, in Buckeye, Doddridge County, a daughter of the late Laurence "Tim" and Edna Zinn Davis.
Her husband, Clyde Kinney, whom she married May 26, 1943, survives.
Also surviving are one son, Daniel L. and Sharon Kinney, Salem; five sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Glenna) VanPelt, Sarasota, Fla., Lula Roukema, Pensacola, Fla., Mrs. Dale (Carolyn) Huston, Melbourn, Fla., Mrs. Ronald (Elaine) Marks, Cap Ceral, Fla., and Mrs. Wilbur (Donna) Ash, Salem; two brothers, Carlton Davis, Grafton, and Edsel Davis, Lineville, Ala.; three grandchildren, David Scott Nutt, Heather Kinney, Salem, and Daniel and Sandi Kinney, Hollywood, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Kinney was a homemaker, a member of the Salem Seventh Day Baptist Church and enjoyed camping.
WEST UNION -- Minnie Merle Lloyd, 91, of Emmanuel Campus Center, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born May 9, 1908, in Clay County, a daughter of the late Solomon and Rebecca Jane Moxley Smith.
Her husband, Cecil Carlos Lloyd, preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Rebecca Jo Dolly Watkins, Pine, Ariz.; five sons, Ford Lloyd, West Union, George M. Lloyd, Huachuca City, Ariz., John J. Lloyd, Hot Springs, Ark., Clayton B. Lloyd, Southside, and James W. "Bill" Lloyd, Olto, Ga.; 22 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Lloyd was a homemaker and Protestant.
CLARKSBURG -- Emi Okada, 18, a Rotary youth exchange student from the Saijo Rotary Club in Japan, who was currently residing at 612 Milford St., Clarksburg, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at United Hospital Center, Clarksburg.
She was born June 15, 1981, in Higashihiroshima-shi, Hiroshima, Japan, a daughter of Mrs. Satoko Okada, Hiroshima, and the late Masao Okada.
Also surviving are one brother.
Miss Okada was a senior attending Robert C. Byrd High School, where she was active in volleyball and softball. She was Buddhist.
She was being hosted on behalf of the Clarksburg Rotary Club by Sherry and Robert Caplan, Nancy and Terry Joseph and Martha and Lee Gustafson.
Friends will be received at Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main St., Clarksburg, from 2-9 p.m. today. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Hospitality will be provided following the service in Westminster Hall of the First Presbyterian Church in Clarksburg.
MOOREFIELD -- Edgar Franklin Sions, 78, of Purgitsville, died Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
He was born July 17, 1921, in Old Fields, a son of the late Howard and Mae Weatherholtz Sions.
His wife, Nellie Haggerty Sions, survives.
Also surviving are six daughters, Elaine Stickley, Junction, Norma Markwood, Linda Markwood, Anita Eye and Annette Ours, all of Purgitsville, and Esther Messenger, Clarksburg; three sons, Leroy Sions, Keith "Randy" Sions and Andy Sions, all of Purgitsville; two sisters, Iva Haggerty, Purgitsville, and Hazel Shoemaker, South Fork; three brothers, David Sions, South Fork, Victor Sions, Junction, and Jesse Sions, Burlington; 31 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Sions was a retired construction worker and a member of the Mountain View Community Church.
LOWER BURRELL, Pa. -- Margaret Sprouse, 58, of Lower Burrell, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at Citizens General Hospital, New Kensington.
She was born Aug. 31, 1941, in Wilsonburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy Barrett Holliday.
Her husband, Fred Dudley Sprouse Sr., survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Fred Sprouse Jr., Holiday Park, Plum, Donald Sprouse, New Kensington, Daniel Sprouse, Spring Lake, N.C., and Francis Sprouse, Lower Burrell; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Sandra) Romitz, Allison Park; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Howard Barrett, North Carolina, and Ed Holliday, Clarksburg, W.Va.; five sisters, Mrs. Curt (Phyllis) Ledbetter, Montgomery, Ala., Mrs. John (Dottie) Carlson, Fort Worth, Texas, Mrs. Danny (Teresa) Querrero, Houston, Texas, Mrs. Rick (Dorkus) Weaver, Washington, Pa., and Mrs. Paul (Sharon) Ramsey, Wilmington, N.C.
Mrs. Sprouse was a school bus driver for Laidlaw Transit in Indiana Township.
CLARKSBURG -- Jeannette Stevenson Wilson, 85, of Route 1, Clarksburg, Country Club Addition, died at 11:35 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 22, 1914, in New Kensington, Pa., a daughter of the late Richard R. and Mabelle Dressing Stevenson.
Her husband, John Frampton Wilson, whom she married in May 1938, preceded her in death in February 1992.
Surviving are two daughters, Jeanne Wilson Pontti, Kodiak, Alaska, and Stephanie Wilson Rowland, Florence, Ky.; two sons, Richard Stevenson Wilson, Bridgeport, and Frank Lusk Wilson, Bellingham, Wash.; one sister, Mrs. Robert W. Miller, St. Petersburg, Fla.; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Clarksburg. She was a graduate of Fairfax Hall, Va., attended Carnegie Mellon Institute and was a graduate of Ohio State University.
She was also a member of the United Hospital Center Auxiliary, Friends of the Library, Harrison County Historical Society, the Goff Plaza Garden Club and was a past member of the Woman's Golf Association of Clarksburg Country Club.
Mrs. Wilson had worked as a trainee at Kaufmann's in Pittsburgh, Pa., and later became the first decorator-designer at the Palace Furniture Co. in Clarksburg.
There will be no funeral home visitation. Friends are invited to call at the family residence (Country Club Addition) from 2-6 p.m. on Thursday. A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at the Elk View Masonic Cemetery, Clarksburg, with the Rev. Dr. Eric M. Faust conducting the service.
In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that expressions of sympathy be memorial contributions to Peoples Hospice, P.O. Box 1680, Clarksburg, WV, 26302-9960.
