This Labor Day Weekend, area residents won't be lacking for something to do.
Along with the backyard barbecues, family get-togethers and more, an abundance of festivals will get under way, each of which seems to get better with every passing year.
Locally, we have the West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival, an enormous event in our own proverbial backyard that features food, activities for children and top-notch entertainment.
There's also the Stonewall Jackson Heritage Arts & Crafts Jubilee at Jackson's Mill in Weston. The four-event is highlighted by crafts and music of the 1800s, exhibitions, Civil War reenactments and more.
In addition, the Jane Lew Firemen's 16th annual Arts and Crafts Festival will be held this weekend, along with the Bulltown Labor Day Weekend Frolic, which offers apple-butter making, scavenger hunts, and ghost stories told around a campfire.
Few other weekends offer up this many entertainment oppurtunities for the entire family; we urge you to visit one or more of them.
