BUCKHANNON -- Betty L. Bennett, 87, of 5 Franklin St., Buckhannon, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Buckhannon.
She was born July 28, 1912, at Hall, a daughter of the late Worth G. and Mary L. Hoff Bennett.
Surviving are two nephews, Gordon H. Rutherford, Raleigh, N.C., and David Rutherford, Woodbridge, Va.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Marjorie Rutherford.
Ms. Bennett was a bookkeeper for the Barbour County Board of Education.
CAIRO -- Christian S. Bush, 25, of Parkersburg, died Thursday, April 27, 2000, in Charleston.
He was born July 19, 1974, in Grantsville, Calhoun County, a son of Cindi L. Six Washburn of Harrisville and Roger Bush of Parkersburg.
Also surviving are his stepfather, Mike Washburn, Harrisville; his stepmother, Terri Bush, Parkersburg; one son, Daniel Bush, Columbus, Ohio; his maternal grandparents, Lewis Six and stepgrandmother, Sherri Six, Akron, Ohio, and Louise Six, Cambridge, Ohio; his great-grandmother, Georgia Six, Parkersburg; his paternal grandparents, Jack and Jean Bush, Mineral Wells; and one brother, Mackenzie Bush, Marietta, Ohio.
Mr. Bush was employed by Pizza Hut of Ñorth Parkersburg and was very musically talented, both in singing and playing various musical instruments. He was part of the local band, Disturbing Livestock.
WESTON -- Arthur Dale "Bus" Clark, 76, of Route 3, Weston, Gaston community, died at 11:55 a.m. Thursday, April 27, 2000, in Charleston Area Medical Center-Memorial Division following a brief illness.
He was born Nov. 17, 1923, in Georgetown, a son of the late Hugh C. Clark and Settie Kelley Clark.
His wife, the former Betty K. Wamsley Clark, whom he married Oct. 24, 1947, survives.
Also surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda J. Simpson and Bob, Weston; one grandson, Timothy A. Titus; one step grandson, Chris Simpson and wife, Bridgette; two step great-grandchildren, Shelby and Joshua Simpson; one sister, Viola M. Jewell, Gaston; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Miss Agnes Clark; and four brothers, Otie, Erlo, Walter and Woodrow Clark.
Mr. Clark was a retired blowroom foreman with Louie Glass Factory of Weston with over 40 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.
He served as private first class rifleman for 20 months overseas with the 34th Division Co. C 135th Infantry regiment. He was an avid bowler and a Methodist by faith.
Friends will be received at the Floyd Funeral Home, 402 Main Ave., Weston, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Joseph M. Shreve officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Weston.
HARRISVILLE -- Doris Jo Eddy, 58, of Wadsworth, Ohio, died Wednesday, April 26, 2000, at her home.
She was born Dec. 21, 1941, in Ritchie County, a daughter of the late Troy and Hazel Horner Nutt.
Her husband, Daniel W. Eddy, survives.
Also surviving are two children, Kenneth T. Eddy, Wadsworth, and Debra A. Smith, Rittman, Ohio; three grandchildren; four brothers, Dale Nutt, Canada, Bill Nutt, Ohio, Clifford Nutt, Macfarlan, and George Nutt, Petersburg; and five sisters, Edna Santee, Fallansbee, Ernestine Powers and Monnie Drown, both of Chester, Judy Smith, Parkersburg, and Zella Shaw, Wheeling.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Lulu Hogue.
Mrs. Eddy graduated from Harrisville High School in 1959.
Sarah Alice 'Aunt Bady' Miller
CLARKSBURG -- Sarah Alice "Aunt Bady" Miller, 77, of Pearlman Avenue, Clarksburg, died at 10 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2000, at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born Nov. 4, 1922, in Gilmer County, a daughter of the late Roscoe "Buck" and Martha E. Mick Bonnett.
Her husband, Earl Harrison Miller, preceded her in death Sept. 19, 1975.
Surviving are four sisters, Kelsie Bonnett Pierson, Frametown, Pauline Long Lamm, North View, Emoline Bonnett Post, Clarksburg, and Annabelle Whitaker, Hazel Park, Mich.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Ernest P. Bonnett, in November 1963.
Mrs. Miller was a member of the North View United Methodist Church. She was a former employee of Westinghouse with 30 years of service.
Family and friends may call at the Davis Funeral Home, 443 West Pike Street, Clarksburg, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, where a funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Kenny Kendall, pastor of the North View United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

BRIDGEPORT -- Brenice Gae Morrissette, 97, formerly of James Street, Bridgeport, died on Thursday, April 27, 2000, at Crestview Manor, Jane Lew.
She was born Nov. 20, 1902, in Gilmer County, a daughter of the late Clark and Dora Straley Woofter.
Her husband, David Morrissette, preceded her in death in 1985.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Anne Morrissette, Mentor, Ohio, and David and Barbara Morrissette, Lake Worth, Fla.; and five grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Brooks and Brent Woofter; and one sister, Faye Ervin.
Mrs. Morrissette was a homemaker and a member for many years of the Stonewall Homemakers Club of Lewis County. She was a 50-year member of the Weston Chapter No. 40, Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of the Simpson Creek Baptist Church in Bridgeport.
Friends will be received at the Allen Funeral Home, 215 East Main St., Bridgeport, from 6-8 p.m. Sunday. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Monday with Dr. C. Michael Hopkins conducting. Interment will follow at Weston Masonic Cemetery, Weston.
JANE LEW -- Joseph Teicheira, 81, of Jane Lew, died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2000, at his home.
He was born July 22, 1918, in Danville, Calif., a son of the late John and Mary Mendonca Teicheira.
His wife, Raydine Westfall, whom he married March 19, 1951, in Oakland, Calif., survives.
Also surviving are one son, Joseph Westfall Teicheira and wife, Ellen, Canton, Ohio; one daughter, Danna R. Teicheira, New Orleans, La.; one granddaughter, Tara Teicheira, Canton; one sister, Isabelle Ruthardt, Rexburg, Idaho; and one brother, August Teicheira, Concord, Calif.
He was also preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
Mr. Teicheira was retired from the U.S. Navy. After retirement, he was flight standard inspector for the Federal Aviation Association. He served on aircraft carriers in the Pacific during World War II. He also was a dive bomber transport pilot during World War II and served in Transport Squadron during the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of American Legion Post No. 166 and Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 5131, both of Jane Lew, and the Retired Officers Association.
Friends will be received at the Morris Funeral Home, Jane Lew, from 5-8:30 p.m. Sunday, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Ronald C. Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview IOOF Cemetery.
Full military rites will be accorded by Jane Lew American Legion Post No. 166, Jane Lew, Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 5131, DAV No. 51 of Weston, American Legion Post No. 4 of Weston, and West Virginia Order of Purple Heart No. 697. The casket will remain closed.
