Tyler tops Doddridge County
MIDDLEBOURNE -- Ashley Ferguson scored 17 points as Tyler Consolidated held Doddridge County scoreless in the first quarter in a 43-22 victory over the Bulldogs.
Kate Clark scored seven points for the Bulldogs (1-1).
n LIBERTY SWIMMERS SWEEP MEET: Elizabeth Cann won the 100 and 200-yard free as Liberty's girls swimming team defeated Notre Dame (11) and South Harrison (2).
Cann won the 100 with a time of 1:16.72 and the 200 in 2:52.18.
The Mountaineers' boys team won easily, finishing with 83 points to place ahead of Notre Dame (29) and South Harrison (14).
n GLENVILLE ST. 66, Radford 65: Elise Pettinger banked in a 3-pointer at the buzzer to complete a 13-point second half comeback and give the Pioneers an upset over Division I Radford.
Tracy Wyatt led the Pioneers (3-2) with 18 points, while Pettinger added 11 points.
Carrie Triplett grabbed 11 rebounds for Glenville.
